This past weekend, I came back to Cleveland and dragged Kristi along with me. 'Cause God forbid I go back to Cleveland alone.
It's not that I dreaded going back home - truthfully, I was kind of excited - it's just that Cleveland is the home to all my problems. Especially one. You all know who I'm talking about. Speaking of that, my mother kept yelling at me whenever I referred to him as "my ex" and told me that he was my "friend". We've been over this: we're not friends (he made this quite clear when he called me a life ruining bitch), and therefore I have no intention of calling him my "friend". So there.
Anyway, besides the drama and my mother's constant nagging, the weekend was both relaxing and hectic at the same time. We came home on Thursday night and slept, then on Friday my grandmother took Kristi and me to Sweetie's (this big-ass candy warehouse store in Parma). I got my jelly beans and Kazoozles, Kristi got her candy Legos and Sweet Tart lollipops, and then we left. Kristi's friend Baiko stopped by (and tried to tickle us to death) for a little bit before my father came to pick us up. Him and his girlfriend took us to Sam's Club to stock up on food, and then we went to my favorite Japanese place for dinner. They dropped us back off at my house, and then my one friend came over for a little bit.
Saturday started off with lunch with my Squirt and aunt. Squirt had a band competition at 2, so we tried to get to their house as early as possible. After they left, Kristi and I did something we've wanted to do for a while: we took baths. It was great. After that we went back to my grandmother's for a nice dinner (mmmm....city chicken), and then we ran out to the mall to grab me some extra sweaters from JC Penny's (and a Teen Titans shirt from Hot Topic).
Today we came back (with a Squirt in tow), dropped Kristi off at the dorms, then went with Ashley to see the local production of Hairspray (our dean of students played Edna!) and finished our Sunday off with a nice dinner at Bob Evan's.
So that's it. After a hectic weekend back home, I am finally back in my cozy dorm of freedom and typing a blog post instead of finishing up the two papers I have due tomorrow. I should probably get to work on those.
