Weekend in Review/Summer Bucket List

With a fun-filled first weekend home coming to a close, it's time to get down to business.

Last time I have mentioned putting together a summer bucket list that I can do around working and learning to drive. Here's what I have so far:

  • Bake
  • Go swimming
  • Go to Cedar Point/Wildwater Kingdom
  • Watch movies that I’ve been wanting to see (including but not limited to):
    • The Godfather (pts. II & III)
    • Schindler’s List
    • Skyfall
    • Lincoln
    • Heat
    • Scarface
    • Pulp Fiction
    • Inception
    • The Silence of the Lambs
    • Die Hard
    • Jurassic Park
    • Spirited Away
    • Monty Python’s Life of Brian
    • Saturday Night Fever
    • The Producers (1968)
  • Go bowling
  • Hang out with friends as often as possible (game night, movie night, etc)
  • See Star Trek: Into Darkness and try not to fangirl over Benedict Cumberbatch
  • Go 1 day without Tumblr (*whimper*)
  • Go to more than one Indians game
  • Colossalcon
  • Have multiple sleepovers with the Squirt
  • Have multiple sleepovers with ANY of my gal pals

I think it's a pretty decent start. I'm open to suggestions if you guys can think of anything fun that I can add to it.

On Friday, a group of my friends and I went to our alma mater to see their last spring musical ever: Monty Python's Spamalot, the musical version of the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Now I'm a fan of Monty Python and the Holy Grail (thanks to Riko, who showed me it when we first got together), so of course I found it hysterical. The drama club really went out with a bang, and I'm happy that they were able to do this show, though I am ridiculously jealous that this wasn't our show last year! Everyone did an awesome job, and I'm so proud of each and every one of them.

Plus everyone in the cast talked to me after the show so I guess that means they don't think I'm that psychotic anymore. And I didn't burst into tears or have another anxiety attack when I saw Riko so I got bonus hugs. Wewt.

Thursday night/Friday morning, J. Lynch and I saw Iron Man 3 at midnight. IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. It gave me feels, though. Even when we were walking back to his car I still had no idea what my feelings were doing. Just wait 'till Thor: The Dark World comes out in November. Ugh, goddamn Loki feels...

Tonight, we celebrated Peno's birthday by going over his house and spending time with him and his family. Today was also J's birthday, so her and I are going to plan a get-together for that probably this upcoming week.

So that's all I got for ya. Now it's time to relax and search for videos of Benedict Cumberbatch on The Graham Norton Show. Toodles.
