Everyone I know has started school this past week. Fortunately for me, only one of my four classes started this past week. The other three don't start until next week.
Along with another math class, I'm taking another intro to film, writing (none of my writing credits transferred so it's back to square one), and an art appreciation class that meets every other week at the art museum downtown. How cool is that? Plus I get free unlimited access to the RTA so I can go downtown whenever I want!
Because this semester is a heavier load than last semester, I told my boss that I would only be available to work Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. He was completely okay with that, but then for the past few weeks he gave me a pretty busy schedule and I ended up having to work 4-5 days with no break in between. This week is my last full week and I'm working five days straight. At least I only work for 4 hours on Friday and Saturday, and I don't have any opening shifts at all.
Since my math class starts freakishly early this semester (8:30 AM. Ugh.), I'm going to try to get up early all this week. Usually I'm in bed around midnight, asleep around 1 AM and awake around 10 AM (which is pretty early for me), but I want to get used to getting up early with minimal issues. I found a recipe for a detox water that I'm going to try to drink every day, and I might even try exercising.
So I just finished reading the stuff I had to read for my movie class today, and now I'm watching Disney World videos on my dad's TV. My mom and I decided on dates for our Disney trip next year, and I'm so excited even though it's more than a year away! I want to have my savings goal done by next September, so I better start saving up now! Plus one of her friends recommended a planner that could help us get a reservation to the new Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom, and even though I like planning Disney stuff by myself, I just might have to shoot her an email!
Well, that's all my brain could barf up at the moment. My dad's gonna be home in a few minutes and we were gonna go driving before dinner. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, but I don't think I'm ready to be on a road just yet.
Later, losers.
