Day 22 - Name your favorite movie and why it's your favorite.
I FUCKING HATE THAT YOU EXPECT ME TO PICK ONE GODDAMN MOVIE WHAT THE FUCK.
Screw this shit. I watch and fangirl over way too many movies to pick one. So...top five? Top five it is (in no particular order).
The Hollow Crown
Alright. Technically it's a series of four TV movies of Shakespeare plays (Richard II, Henry IV pts. 1&2, and Henry V), but they're full-length TV movies, so for my sake, they're still considered movies.
I watch these whenever I need my Shakespeare/Tom Hiddleston fix. They're really, really well done adaptations too. Personally, my favorites are Henry IV pt. 1 and Henry V, and it's not just because Tom's in them, but also because Jeremy Irons is a bad ass...and because Tom's in them.

The Avengers
Oh look, another movie with one Thomas William Hiddleston a superhero movie filled with hot guys great actors. I love The Avengers and it's safe to say that it's my new obsession. Everyone in this movie plays their characters so fucking well it's ridiculous. Every smartass comment that comes out of Robert Downey Jr.'s mouth is hysterical, Mark Ruffalo does an awesome job with the conflicted Bruce Banner/Hulk, and nobody can play an emotionally unstable, psychotic little shit like Tom. Nobody.
The Shawshank Redemption
This movie is as old as I am, it's the only movie I can watch all the way through without skipping around, and I watched it twice the day after Riko and I broke up. It holds a very special place in my heart.
Inglourious Basterds
Can't have a top five movie list without the first R-rated movie you've seen in theaters.
Thor
Oh look, another movie with Tom Hiddleston. Surprise surprise.
Out of all the Marvel movies that lead up to The Avengers, Thor is definitely my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love RDJ's Iron Man, but there's just something about this movie - that's NOT Tom Hiddleston, believe it or not - that always gets to me.
