Show People

YES I'M MAKING THE FIRST POST IN OVER A MONTH ABOUT A STUPID DREAM I HAD LAST NIGHT.

So last night I dreamt that after some sort of natural disaster involving a lot of fire and earthquakes, my high school was destroyed. Fortunately, for some unknown reason, my elementary school was spared (and some odd reason my high school stage was magically transported to my elementary school gym).

Before said catastrophe, we just started rehearsals for the fall play of our senior year. After the catastrophe, our director lost all hope and left (along with another certain someone), leaving just the cast and crew to fend for ourselves.

The whole cast started arguing about what our next move was gonna be until K.P. and I told everyone to shut the fuck up and listen. Her and I would take over a co-directors, Riko and Stephan (no idea how he came into the picture but I wasn't complaining) would take over as co-stage managers, and the rest of us would work on everything else together as a team.

So with that, we sprang into action. The actors rehearsed every day, and the crew worked every other day. A month before the show, the set was completely finished and the actors were already off book. We also held our own fundraisers, like bake sales and $5 movie nights. We did a shit load of publicity through social media and the community. I took advantage of Photoshop and Custom Ink and made gear just for the drama club (really, all we had to show off our pride were our show shirts), everyone got along, there was no fighting over relationships (Riko and I were pretty cuddly here and there but we weren't actually going out and we were kind of besties) and everything was going just right.

Opening night was a huge success; I guess everyone was looking forward to see our school rise from the ashes of the huge catastrophe that hit Ohio months before. The crew nailed their queues, the cast didn't mess up a single line, Peño got ladies underwear thrown at him like a motherfucking rock star, and everything was at peace.

What was more peaceful is that I was able to finish the dream before my alarm went off this morning.

SO there's my first crazy dream of 2014. Let's do some quick updates: I'm officially 20, school and work are taking over my life, Dan, J. Lynch and I went to the St. Patty's Day Parade downtown and Riko was with us and we went to his dorm afterwards and it really wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be, I saw Skillet for the fourth time on Sunday, I was on a dating site for a while, met a dude that told me I was not a "real" Marvel fan 'cause I like the movies, met another dude that had potential until he told me that I was too nerdy for him, kept getting messages from a 31-year-old dude named Jim Bob, got messaged by my high school creeper that doesn't know how to give up, met a cool dude at school but then he started acting really clingy and stalker-like so I tried to cut ties with him but he still kept trying to contact me until I had to block him on Facebook and say I was someone else when he texted me for the 20 billionth time, concluded that I'd much rather lay pant-less around my house, play video games, live on the internet and stuff my face than have a boyfriend, I'm currently saving up to get a new camera since the one I've had since my sophomore year of high school is starting to die on me, and Denise and I made a deal that if I get my own plane ticket and park hopper we can go back to Disney World next year to celebrate my 21st birthday and her special age that ends with a 0.

Now back to this paper before work.
