So it's April, and I've been back home for close to four months now. I have definitely noticed a change from when I was at Defiance, and it's a damn good one, to be quite honest.
As you've read in the huge run-on sentence of updates, A lot has happened since the start of the new year. I moved back home, transferred schools, went back to my job, and basically decided to start fresh. My mother and I are getting along
On my birthday I was put back on the schedule at my job, and it feels so good to be back to earning my own money. St. Patrick's Day not only proved that Cleveland can throw a good party (even when it was fucking freezing), but also the fact that I can be civil with people that I never thought I'd see or interact with again in my life (guess that's what happens when you still have mutual friends. I might unblock them from something now that I know this fact but I'm still hesitant). My mom and I made a deal that guarantees an awesome 7th Disney trip next year. And now with summer coming up, and awesome summer plans in the works, it just makes me ask myself what's going to happen next.
When I first got the thought of moving back home, I thought that I really was going to drive myself mad. But now that I think back on it, I'm glad I went through with it. Sure there are certain things that I miss from being away at school, but I never thought I'd say that it's great to be back home, but when I'm surrounded by friends and family, it just makes things a hell of a lot easier.
Now I just have to get through school.
Great post!
